Among other symptoms, Growth Hormone Deficiency and Turner’s Syndrome are characterized by short stature, they should have been detected early during routine child investigations. Yet, this was not always the case.
The figures illustrates that many children are diagnosed late. Almost 3 out of 4 children with Growth Hormone Deficiency, and almost 40% of all children with Turner’s Syndrome are diagnosed after the age of 5 years. This is late, many of these children might have been treated earlier, and this is the reason why we believe in internet preventive care. Measuring children is not difficult. Childhealth24.com is able to “automatically pick up children who are too short for age.
We would be delighted if you take part in this interactive child health program, and we would be even more delighted if you might help spreading this program to all families with children.
